About Crystal Optic Co., Ltd.

Crystal Optic Co., Ltd. was founded in 1992 in Incheon, South Korea, originally operating as a chain of optical shops across Seoul and the Gyeonggi region.
In 1998, we began researching and developing medical loupes, successfully achieving full localization of production—a first in Korea at the time.
In what was then an emerging and unfamiliar market, we played a pioneering role in introducing and distributing Korean-made medical loupes to the local medical community.

Driven by continuous innovation, we developed ultra-compact medical lights and introduced Korea's first 1:1 customized TTL (Through-The-Lens) loupes, setting new standards in the industry.

As experienced opticians running optical stores for decades, Crystal Optic brings together advanced knowledge of eyewear optics and in-depth understanding of medical loupes. We provide expert lens selection, measurement, manufacturing, and custom fitting services.

In 2012, we launched our dedicated medical loupe brand, SURGELOUP.

Today, the SURGELOUP division is being led by the second generation of the family business. They are building upon the deep technical expertise of founder Mr. Jun-Nyeon Kim, combining it with modern systems and personalized service to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the SURGELOUP brand.
